Take a deep breath and relax

It's common for people to wake up from sleeping and to immediately
start buzzing in your head everything you want to, or have to do today.
For me, I tend to not only do that, but to also singing songs in my head
over and over.

What needs to be done first is to listen and feel.
Listen to the ambient sounds around you (the birds, the lawnmower
off in the distance, etc.) and feel peace in a relaxed body.

This gets you to stop, slow down, and thus be able to
do what needs to be done first, and be in the right place
physicall, emotionally, and mentally to work with everything
else that follows.
